dealspotr Helps You Save and Earn Cashback on Holiday Shopping

This is a paid review, however all opinions are 100% my own.

I’ve done a number of reviews for dealspotr, because it’s my favorite GPT (Get Paid To) website. I’ve been a member of dealspotr since May 2016. In the past 6 months I’ve received over $200 amazon gift cards. I’ve not found a faster or more fun way to earn money online.

I’ve put together a very in depth tutorial for new users here with pictures that show you walking through how to register your free account, choosing interests, following your favorite stores, validating deals, and sharing your own deals on the site. Be sure you check it out.

The site is simple and easy to use. When you log on (assuming it’s not your first visit to the site) you’ll see a page with some hot deals that are currently trending. In the upper right hand side you’ll see your profile showing your dashboard with an orange bar indicating how close you are to your next gift card as well as showing a daily task list that you can optionally complete to score some free points each day. You’ll also see your accuracy score in green.

Accuracy score is super important on dealspotr. When it is low you will be limited in how many deals you can post or validate each day. Make sure you are only posting valid deals and assigning them to the correct sections of the site. As your accuracy score increases, you will soon reach a point where you can post and validate unlimited deals which means there’s no limit to how much you can earn using the site.

On the left hand side, you’ll see a big blue button that says +Add a Deal – This is where you go to share your own deals. You’ll be asked a series of questions to get information about the deal such as if it requires a coupon code, if it’s sitewide or applies only to specific items, and the expiration date. You can share all kinds of deals from printable coupons, to online sales, or even “matchup deals” demonstrating how to use multiple deals to maximize your discounts.

Based on the types of deals you add and the information you provide, you’ll earn varying amounts of points typically around 50 points per deal. Every 10,000 points you earn will give you another gift card. They are a tiny bit slow in sending the gift cards out. Typically it only takes 2-3 days but I’ve had it take up to 10-12 days before. This is normal, so don’t get nervous if your reward takes awhile to arrive – and be sure to check your junk and spam folders as well.

Not only do you earn money, but you can save a ton of money on things you already buy, ranging from food, dining out, groceries, clothing, baby items, household goods, toys, video games, electronics, and much more. dealspotr has dozens of deals for your favorite stores and brands.

Steam Autumn Sale Now through Cyber Monday

Yep, another Black Friday Sale Announcement, this one is for everyone’s favorite digital game retailer, Steam. We can also expect their “Holiday Sale” in just a few short weeks, which begs the question, which sale will have the best deals? Traditionally in years past, the Holiday Sale was the biggest sale of the year unlike most retailers who put their best sales on Black Friday / Cyber Monday.

Steam’s Autumn Sale Begins now and Runs through November 29th, 2016. It features hundreds of games on sale, some as much as 75% off and new games go on sale each day.

//widget.dealspotr.com/widget.js

My friend advised me that Undertale was just $4.99 – I’d been wanting it for a long time so I picked it up 🙂 I hear it’s quite a bit like Earthbound, which I also love.

A quick look at my wishlist reveals these other titles are on sale today (and new games will go on sale each day of the sale as well)

Witcher 3 – $19.99 (God really tempted now to get this lol. It’s number 1 on my wishlist right now… But I am saving for a trip and some other things at the moment.)

Tales of Zestria – $16.99 (Why you doing this to me Steam… lol. The game in my number 2 wishlist slot is almost 70% off lol).

I am Setsuna – $26.79 (not a huge savings, but still)

Sunrider Accademy – $3.99

Tokyo School Life – $5.99

Baulder’s Gate 1 and 2 are both $7.99

Magical Diary Horse Hall (I’ve played this but wanted it for Steam as I like having all my games in one place — It is an amazing Otome Game ❤ And perfect if you like Harry Potter) – It’s on sale for just $5.99

Ticket to Ride – $2.49

Shelter is just $1.09 – I played it (via Utomik) last week and it’s fun — Shelter 2 is infinitely better and more emotional than Shelter 1 though.

Octodad – $2.99 (been on my wish list awhile)

Planetarian – $4.99

Gods will be watching – $2.49

Civ Beyond Earth – $9.99 – a huge savings as it’s usually around $40

Black Friday 24 Hour Flash Sale Now Live at Dell | Black Friday Computers | Black Friday Laptops | Black Friday 2016

It’s beginning to look a lot like … Black Friday? I know stores get more aggressive each year with their Black Friday sales and offerings, but this seems a little premature? It’s only the 1st of the month but already Dell has some huge sales going on!

//widget.dealspotr.com/widget.js

There’s laptops and desktops on sale for the next 24 hours only.

My pick for all of you gamers is the Inspiron 15 7000 Touch which comes with a 6th Generation Intel® Core™ i5 Processor, 8GB Memory, and NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 960M with 4GB GDDR5 for just $799.99 which is $200 off Dell’s regular price. It also has thermal cooling and benchmarks pretty well on the latest games on high and ultra graphic settings. All this power in just a tiny 6 pound package. The touch screen is nice too especially if you enjoy casual games – My current laptop (which is now about 4 years old and in need of an upgrade) has a touch screen, and it really comes in handy for a lot of games and graphic art programs.

Check out all of the great deals and get your Christmas shopping done early, or buy something for yourself 🙂

Happy Halloween everybody! It is cold here in Northwestern PA (though not as bad as it has been the past few years). I’m nice and warm in a cute and comfy, cozy Kigurumi. What is a Kigurumi? It’s a type of costume made popular in Japanese street fashion and cosplay that is similar to a baby onesie without the feet and with a hood that often has an animal or anime face.

I have lots of Kigurumi. Cats, tigers, my little ponies, bears, mice, domukun, care bears, etc. But today, I’m wearing my elephant costume. Last year, I wore my black cat costume from Sazac. This was my very first Kigurumi and it’s now at least 6 years old and has lived through being washed multiple times. I used to have a cat that looked just like it and it was fun posing with her for pictures lol. I got the cat kigurumi from a place called Kigurumi Shop online. I highly highly recommend them and the Sazac brand!!! http://kigurumi-shop.com/

But Sazac, although they might have been the first, or most well known designer of Kigurumi, they are not alone in the market. Today’s elephant Kigurumi came from a local discount store called Gabriel Brothers. The brand just says Animal Onesie. And they’re sold usually around this time of year in the women’s lingerie and underwear department.

The fit of this “counterfeit” costume is NOT as comfy as the Sazac costumes. The legs are oddly short, like maybe they’re capris but I’m short so Capris pants almost always fit me like regular pants (almost) – but the elastic around the leg is tight and itchy. — The Sazac costume is much more loose around the legs. Though I do like that this counterfit one is a lot less baggy in the crotch area since it’s designed specifically for women, where as the Sazac brand are unisex costumes.

Although the fit is a bit different, the costume is still made of the same fleecey comfy soft and THICK fabric that the Sazac costumes are made from. It’s VERY cuddley.

It’s also incredibly cute! Although I am aware it looks like a certain male body appendage is sticking out of my head hahaha…. It’s amusing, and funny. and I feel cute and happy wearing it. I love Halloween and I love Kigurumi. I’d recommend buying from the Kigurumi Shop; but if you’re lucky, due to increased popularity in the United States, you just may be able to find one at a store near you! The ones from Sazac are pricey, but really last a long time and fit a lot better and are comfier than the cheapie ones. But the cheapie ones are still cute and make great halloween costumes (or pajamas!).

Check out some of these other zany Japanese and Korean Costumes from around the web:

I bought this costume tonight for my dog, but she wouldn’t hold still to take photos, so I thought well I’ll try it on one of my cats. I had to bribe him with treats, and it was too small, the neck part fit good, but he is fat (or fluffy or both), so the Extra Small costume (for my chihuahua) was much too small around his waist. FYI The waist part is not fastened it’s just laying there under him. I would not force something tight or hurt him at all. It’s only fastened at the neck in which he had plenty of room.

Still hilarity ensued. I promise he didn’t hate it too much despite his “angry” expression. He hated the flash from my camera more than the costume. He was too busy eating treats to even care he was wearing anything lol.

No cats (or bananas) were harmed in the making of these photos and he is not being forced to wear the costume any more or for any length of time (took about 4 minutes to snap a couple photos then I removed the outfit from him) :) And no, he did not scratch, hiss, or try to run away, he was too interested in the treats I kept handing him lol.

I know he looks sad, but he’s stretched out sleeping on his back now, perfectly content and 100% banana free. :)

He was hunched down here in these photos because he was eating treats on the blanket; squinting because of flash, if you look at ears, you can see they are not flat back thus he is in a neutral / calm state; although admittedly probably not too happy to have to wear a banana around his neck and have a camera stuck in his face. His hunched and squinting appearance makes him look much more sad or fearful than he actually was at the time. In fact, he kept getting too close to the camera / rubbing against my hand wanting me to give him more treats while I was trying to take these, instead of running or hiding under the bed, etc. So don’t feel too bad for him, he was well “Compensated” for having to be my model for a couple of minutes :)

You can click to enlarge any of the images. Hope you get a laugh.
